Hydrogen vs Electrification: Could hydrogen and electrification have a symbiotic relationship?
than being competitors could hydrogen infrastructure complement electric vehicle infrastructure? Whilst light vehicles may not be the pathway for hydrogen, heavy trucks are a little more difficult and therefore in the future it is likely that an alternative will be needed such as hydrogen for those harder to decarbonise part of the fleet.
Why would you use hydrogen for power generation?
My question was particularly focused on why you would make blue hydrogen (hydrogen made from methane gas, with the carbon dioxide captured and stored underground) or green hydrogen (made from renewable electricity) to then combust it in a power station.
